Prosody is a Praxis SLP (5331) exam-prep app operated by Impulse Learning LLC ("we," "us"). This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices. Questions: [email protected].
You can try the first few sample questions with no account at all — if you never sign in, we don't collect your email. To continue past those questions or to save your progress, you create a free account, which requires your email address.
Purchases are processed by Stripe. Your card details are entered on Stripe's secure checkout and are handled by Stripe — we never see or store your full card number. We receive only a confirmation and a payment reference so we can grant your access. See Stripe's privacy policy at stripe.com/privacy.
We share information only with service providers that run the app on our behalf — our hosting/database provider and our payment processor (Stripe) — and only as needed to operate the service. We may disclose information if required by law.
We keep your account and study data while your account exists. You can delete your account at any time from within the app (Account → Delete account), which removes your email, progress, and purchase record from our active systems. You may also email us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data.
Prosody is intended for graduate students and professionals preparing for the Praxis SLP exam. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Passwords are hashed, data is transmitted over HTTPS, and access to the full question bank is protected server-side. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.
If we make material changes to this policy, we'll update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
